Mountain-Pacific Quality Health Awarded Contract with Montana Primary Care Association
(Helena, Mont.) – Mountain-Pacific Quality Health will work with more than 40 of the Montana Primary Care Association’s member sites to safeguard systems and health records through a security risk analysis.
The security risk analysis will provide an evaluation of physical security mechanisms; report on technical system mechanisms, relevant policies and procedures and provide recommendations on any compliance gaps in federal health care laws. Health Technology Services (HTS), a department of Mountain-Pacific, specializes in health information technology, electronic health records, IT solutions and security. The department will finish the project by the end of 2017.
“We appreciate the opportunity to work with the association and its members on this important project,” said Susan Clarke, health care information security and privacy practitioner for HTS. “Performing a security risk analysis is a complicated endeavor filled with ambiguities. Our analysis and ancillary services will help to ensure that every patient’s health record is safe from a potential breach.”
“The Montana Primary Care Association is pleased to provide our health center members with the opportunity to work with security experts from Mountain-Pacific to ensure the ongoing security of their patients’ health information,” said Cindy Stergar, CEO of the Montana Primary Care Association.
