Casper, Wyo., — Mountain-Pacific Quality Health is proud to announce the winners of the 2016 Hospital Quality Awards. The awards were presented to nine Wyoming hospitals during the Wyoming Hospital Association Annual Meeting and Convention in Cheyenne earlier this month.
Each hospital demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. All recipients had to reach six quality goals in patient satisfaction, clinical care, and patient and family engagement activities. Mountain-Pacific celebrates these hospitals and looks forward to another year of excellence in Wyoming health care.
“Our hospitals take great pride in providing high-quality care to their patients, and we are honored to recognize their outstanding efforts,” said Pat Fritz, Mountain-Pacific Wyoming director. “The staff and leadership at each of these hospitals have shown their commitment to continually improve health care in Wyoming. We truly appreciate their dedication and hard work.”
One hospital received the Quality Achievement Award—the highest award possible:
- North Big Horn Hospital, Lovell
Six hospitals received the Commitment to Quality Award:
- Ivinson Memorial Hospital, Laramie
- Platte County Memorial Hospital, Wheatland
- Torrington Community Hospital, Torrington
- Campbell County Health, Gillette
- Washakie Medical Center, Worland
- St. John’s Medical Center, Jackson
One hospital received the Quality Awareness Award:
- Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital, Thermopolis
One hospital received the Patient- and Family- Engagement Award:
- Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs
All Wyoming hospitals are eligible for Hospital Quality Awards. Award-winning hospitals range from small, rural hospitals to large, urban hospitals. Mountain-Pacific will continue to work with Wyoming hospitals to help ensure every patient receives the safest, highest quality of care possible.
